The 26th biennial Western Agencies Sage and Columbian Sharp-tailed Grouse Workshop will be held in Mammoth Lakes, California, June 23-26, 2008. The purpose of this workshop is to provide a forum to present and share current information regarding research, management, and conservation of sage and Columbian sharp-tailed grouse. The workshop will involve 2 days of oral presentations, on June 24 and 26, and an all-day field trip on June 25 to view areas occupied by greater sage-grouse in Mono County.

Mammoth Mountain Ski Area
The workshop will be held at the Mammoth Mountain Ski Area (MMSA) in the town of Mammoth Lakes, CA. MMSA has reserved a block of rooms at the Mammoth Mountain Inn for June 22 - 27 at the government rate of $84/night + taxes. Additional lodging options are available for deluxe hotel rooms at the Mammoth Mountain Inn and condominiums at The Village Lodging and Juniper Springs Resort as listed below. MMSA will extend these lodging rates to you for 3 days before and 3 days after the meeting (June 20 - June 29). Reserved rooms are limited and additional lodging options are based on availability, so please make your reservations early.
