Marble Mountain Fire Closure Decision
The Department has examined the fire closures within the Marble Mountain Elk Hunt Boundary and determined that emergency action to close the hunt is not warranted at this time.
Please do NOT send in your tag, the hunt will continue as normal with no refunds or reinstatement of tags for next year. Less than 10% of the zone is closed and although some of these closures are in traditional elk hunting areas there is still a reasonable chance to find elk in many other areas.
