The Island #2 pond (former Can Club) is a fully managed pond with no openings within the levees for boat access. The perimeter levee is accessible by boat only from China or South sloughs and will be open to the public as regulated within Title 14, California Code of Regulations. Existing duck blinds on the pond are available on a first-come basis.
Please contact the Department of Fish and Game if you have any questions about the opening of this area or visit the Department’s Web site at www.dfg.ca.gov.
