Special Women's Pheasant Hunt at Grizzly Island Wildlife Area

The California Department of Fish and Game, in an effort to promote and expand hunting opportunities, is pleased to announce a special women’s pheasant hunt at Grizzly Island Wildlife Area in Solano County.
The hunt will be a limited-entry wild pheasant hunt for 15 licensed female hunters on Saturday, Dec. 4, 2004. A special area of Grizzly Island will be reserved just for this hunt. Reservations will be issued by a random drawing.
HOW TO APPLY: On a standard postcard write the hunter’s name, address, phone number, and hunting license number. Mail postcard to:

Each person can apply only once. Parties of two hunters will be accepted (include all information for each hunter on one card). Postcards must be received by Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2004 to be included in the drawing. All successful applicants will be notified by mail. There will be no fee for this hunt and each participant may bring one guest.
