Notification Forms, Instructions & Fees
Fish and Game Code section 1602 requires any person, state or local governmental agency, or public utility to notify the Department of Fish & Game (Department) before beginning any activity that will substantially modify a river, stream or lake.
To notify the Department, a notification package must be completed and submitted with the appropriate fee to the Department regional office that serves the county where the project will take place.
