Through the TripTracks Fishing Logbook, you can create your own real-time personal online fishing log book,and post your data and photos on the Web at ca.triptracks.com.

Here you can record each of your fishing trips, enter fish data (species, size, location, and numbers), and even post photos. This site will allow you to track your progress and see how well you're doing compared to others who are also taking the California Fishing Passport challenge. Your data will be added to a statewide fishing database but your personal information will be kept private.

Although each person's online logbook is private, trip information can be e-mailed to friends. Only your fishing data will go to the Department to help fishery biologists better monitor and manage California's fisheries!
