Border Governors Conference
Wildlife Worktable
Calendar of Events
The Border Governors Conference focuses on important shared issues in order to develop collaborative and comprehensive action plans with tangible outcomes. Representatives from each of the ten US-Mexico border states participate in worktables to ensure that solutions to shared goals are approached with effectiveness through consensus. The Wildlife Worktable supports a binational approach to wildlife management issues, including conservation projects, permits for wildlife activities, and pilot projects related to hunting. Information about the Border Governors Conference and the worktables is available at www.bordergovernors.ca.gov.
The Wildlife Worktable recently developed the following calendar of events concerning US-Mexico border region wildlife management activities. The calendar of activities and events is intended to strengthen communication, coordination, information exchange, capacity building, and standardization of wildlife techniques. The calendar will be updated with information from Wildlife Worktable representatives.
